Ruthann’s Hair Loss Story and Scalp Micropigmentation

Ruthann experienced tragedy at 8 months old when someone intentionally poured a pot of hot coffee over the top of her head out of anger and intoxication.

Her hairline, forehead, face, shoulders, arms, and chest were all burned and she was hospitalized for three months.

Luckily, she doesn’t remember any of the physical pain because it happened so early in her life, but she has dealt with the emotional pain of rejection, judgment, and literally being seen as different because of her visible burn scars.

Despite the challenges she’s faced in dating, putting herself out there, etc she is a source of light. After 3 sessions with her, I got to know her spirit well and learned that Ruthann is forgiving, open-minded, compassionate and so damn accepting. It’s inspiring to say the least. Not an ounce of bitterness or victimhood. If anything, she has a very positive and uplifting outlook on life.

It was a pleasure working with her to fill in her temples with scalp micropigmentation, and give her the flexibility and freedom to wear her hair up, or down without using any fibers or topical powders. Thanks for choosing me and reminding me why I do what I do.

Here’s her story:
