We trained an Artist last week who lives in a state that requires her to jump through some major hoops before she can officially camouflage tattoo such as pass the state’s theory examination, apprentice for 3 years and/or complete a full apprenticeship. There’s probably more she has to do that I’m not aware of but my point of this post is to show you that this is where most people quit.⁣

I’ve met them. A lot of them who happen to live in a state that requires stricter tattooing licensing laws and quit their dream right then and there because of ONE obstacle.⁣
⁣
It boggles my mind how many people give up on themselves and their dreams when faced with a challenge. Spoiler alert: your entire entrepreneurial journey is dedicated to solving problems of others and yourself.⁣
⁣
Our Artist had two ways to look at her challenge: quit her dream of transforming lives for a living or suck it up, push forth and become one, if not the only pioneer in her state that offers camouflage tattooing.⁣
⁣
There’s only one stance that’s going to empower her and make her a stronger artist, person and business owner. The discipline she has today in pursuing her tattoo license will directly influence how she confronts every technical and challenging scar she faces in her future.⁣
⁣
Your business can only grow to the level of⁣ problems that you can handle. If one problem stops you from pursuing your dream, you’ve declared you aren’t capable or ready to face the MANY problems of compromised skin.⁣
⁣
Giving up, making excuses, playing victim or justifying your “limitations” is how you give your power away and what you give your power away to, has power over you. And when you have little power left, that’s all the power you have left to fuel your dreams.⁣

You always have a choice my friend, and I sincerely hope you choose the right one, not the easy one.⁣
