Client Stretch Mark Cover Up Progress | Healed Session, Plus Touch Up

Client traveled from Denver, Co to get her stretch marks camouflaged that she got as a young girl. Always having felt insecure about them, she dreaded going to the beach and often felt like an outcast – as if she was the only one in a group of women who had them. She had been researching the Brazilian stretch mark camouflage for a while, even contemplating a trip to Brazil before she inquired about my services.

We ended up doing two sessions. The first one was the longest with these results:

As you can see, there’s no longer a “white” contrast in her stretch marks, which is what makes them stand out in the first photo (left). They are now skin-toned, but you can still see them. I love this photo in particular because it’s important to educate clients and those of you who are considering this procedure to know that the camouflage tattoo will not erase or remove your stretch marks. It can only help to conceal them. Sometimes, the texture of stretch marks are still noticeable – not because of the tattoo per se, but because of the texture of skin. It’s also important to understand that this procedure is not a quick fix, or miracle cure. It often requires trust and patience, but in due time, it’s worth it.

After she healed, I suggested for her to come back for a touch up where I could add more ink to some of her stretch mark strands to help blend the appearance of them even more.

Here are the results:

The touch up session really perfected and improved the overall appearance of her stretch marks. I’m certain she would agree the touch up was well worth it. In regards to texture, the touch up session really helped blend in those deeper stretch marks because I was able to go back and add more ink.

Here’s a side-by-side of what her stretch marks looked like originally (before ever being camouflaged) to her final result below:

Speaking of which, now that Fall is here, this is THE BEST time to camouflage your stretch marks because you can cover up and heal just in time for summer to arrive again. I’m booking for November and December as we speak!
